Sinopse
Um corpo nasce. Carrega a força de esgarçar a pele e romper a casca. Busca luz e escuridão na opacidade dos dias. É frágil, cruel e violenta sua metamorfose. Então fogo, terra, árvore, água e serpente ganham forma no tilintar da noite. Produzem circularidades da morte em vida. A degradação que se imprime com gotas de sangue na queima da seiva que atravessa a casca, na pele que, ferida, deixa de sentir a natureza… nada ainda impede que tudo renasça sempre e a todo instante. A vida independe de nós. O Universo está aqui. Hutukara grita sua existência.
Bio
Marcela Cavallini é artista, pesquisadora e professora. Doutoranda do Programa de Pós-graduação em Artes Visuais da UFRJ, é Mestre em Estudos Contemporâneos das Artes pela UFF e graduada em Dança pela Faculdade Angel Vianna. Artista integrante do Laboratório de Pesquisa em Corpo, Performance, Mídia Arte e Questões ambientais– BrisaLab|CNPQ|UFF, e do projeto Territórios Sensíveis. É membro do Coletivo Marcas D’Água que já produziu e apresentou trabalhos no I Bienal Black Brasil, no Festival Internacional de Ecoperformance e Festival Novas Mídias.

Synopsis
A body is born. It carries the force of fraying the skin and breaking the shell. Seeks light and darkness in the opacity of days. Its metamorphosis is fragile, cruel, and violent. Then fire, earth, tree, water, and a serpent take shape in the tinkling night. They produce circularities of death in life. The degradation that is imprinted with drops of blood in the burning of the sap that penetrates the bark, in the skin that, wounded, no longer feels nature… nothing still prevents everything from being reborn always and at every moment. Life is independent of us. The Universe is here. Hutukara screams its existence.
Bio
Marcela Cavallini is an artist, researcher, and teacher. She is a doctoral student in the Graduate Program in Visual Arts at UFRJ. She holds a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Arts Studies from UFF and a degree in Dance from Faculdade Angel Vianna. She is an artist member of the Body, Performance, Media Art and Environmental Issues Research Laboratory – BrisaLab | CNPQ | UFF, and of the Sensitive Territories project. She is a member of Coletivo Marcas D’Água, which has already produced and presented works at the I Bienal Black Brasil, at the International Ecoperformance Festiva and Festival Novas Mídias
