Synopsis:
Disgusted with the already deplorable behavior of human beings towards their natural environment), NURU, a young woman citizen of the planet with an overflowing imagination, decides to paint herself motor oil which she uses as a metaphor to pass the message to the next generation.

Bio
Maisha Maene is a Congolese screenwriter and director based in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo. As an Afrofuturist artist, he works on issues of human rights and the environment. As well as various collaborative projects, Maisha has written and directed five short films. Mother Nature won a jury prize at Sustainability International Short Film Competition in North Carolina and was selected to several festivals.

Bio
Maisha Maene é uma roteirista e diretora congolesa baseada em Goma, República Democrática do Congo. Como artista afrofuturista, trabalha com questões de direitos humanos e meio ambiente. Além de vários projetos colaborativos, Maisha escreveu e dirigiu cinco curtas-metragens. A Mãe Natureza ganhou um prêmio do júri no Sustainability International Short Film Competition na Carolina do Norte e foi selecionada para vários festivais.
