The International Ecoperformance Film Festival is an artistic response to the eco-political challenges of the 21st century.
Situated at the intersection of cinema, performing arts, and ecology, the festival promotes the works of interdisciplinary artists who investigate the tensions between environment, body, and ancestry in natural, urban, and virtual landscapes. Since 2021, the festival exhibited around 150 ecopoet[h]ic short films (3 to 25 min.) created by established and emerging artists from 48 countries.
In 2024, the fourth festival edition will take place in 5 countries:

Plastic Arts Performance Collective – Bucharest, Romania – to be defined

AWARDS
The jury of the International Ecoperformance Film Festival concedes 3 “Best Ecoperformance” Awards – handcrafted wooden trophies & 3 “Honorable Mentions” – Certificates. These Awards are non-remunerated.
In addition, the festival features the Environmental Dance Price, a creative prize worth 5000 Euros sponsored and awarded by the Christoph Winkler Company (Berlin, Germany) and the Environmental Dance project.

December 15, 2023 to March 15, 2024
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The Festival platforms films about the relationships between the environment, body, memory, and ancestry.
Films will be accepted for two categories: “Eco[po]etics” and “Unpublished Eco[po]etics”.
Production period: 2022 > 2024.
Duration: 3 to 25 minutes.
Films with speech and/or written text must have English subtitles.
