ECOPERFORMANCE AND ECOPOLITICS OF THE SCENE

Art of the Scene – Volume IX – Ecoperformance and Ecopolitics of the Scene
Guest Editor: Wolfgang Pannek
Editor: Alexandre Nunes

Aiming at a paradigmatic transformation of the performing arts, the new edition of Art on Stage (Arte da Cena) explores the performative relationships between the environment, body, and ancestry.
In dialogue with the conceptual work of Brazilian choreographer Maura Baiocchi (ecorporeality, ecoperformance, eco[po]etics), Volume IX of the journal is the result of cooperation between the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) and the International Ecoperformance Film Festival.
