The international Taanteatro Residence Workshop 2018 offers a revitalizing immersion program introducing to taanteatro dynamics. TTOR 2018 welcomes performing artists as well as practitioners from other creative areas interested in the expansion and development and of their expressive potential. Creation of a solo performance during the residence.
The residence is triggered by The Great Health, a notion proposed by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche who conceives human life as a dynamic and artistic phenomenon. Great Health implies the construction of bodies willing to explore new worlds, new values and new life forms and presupposes the cultivation of an creative, joyful and fearless attitude.
Limited to 12 participants the workshop takes place in a beautiful tropical environment and includes housing, food and didactic materials.
From TTOR 2018 to ARTT:
The participation in TTOR 2018 provides the opportunity to integrate the 1st Edition of ART RESIDENCE TAANTEATRO – ARTT. This new initiative collaborates with the development of artistic projects of any nature through the feeless use of the rural headquarters of Taanteatro Companhia, in a period to be combined.
